RevaTen is a propriety procedure that was designed by Dr. Allan Mishra.  The procedure involves a simple blood draw in the office followed by processing of that blood into platelet rich plasma (PRP). The PRP is then injected in a sterile fashion into and around an area of tendinosis (also know as tendonitis).  Dr. Mishra has treated patients with Tennis Elbow, Golfers' Elbow, Patellar Tendonitis and Achilles tendonitis.  Other conditions under investigation are Rotator Cuff Tendonitis and Knee Cartilage regeneration.

After the procedure the patient is given a specific and custom exercise protocol to follow.  The total time for the RevaTen procedure is about 90 minutes.
