A patient should consider RevaTen when suffering from chronic tendonitis that has been unresponsive to conservative treatments such as rest, anti-inflammatory medications and physical therapy.  It may also be considered instead of a cortisone injection or even surgery.  Randomized controlled data presented in Europe suggests that the platelet rich plasma found within RevaTen decreases pain more than cortisone at six months and one year.
